When did you start your practice and Why: In 2009, I was inspired to start my own practice in order to better serve my community’s needs. I wanted to enable people to take their financial wellness to the next level and start to live a life of enjoyment and security. I am focused on partnering with each of my clients to achieve financial health they never thought possible and a lifestyle they have always wanted. I serve people best when I know what is important to their family and each family’s needs are different and ever changing, which is why working with a family is a partnership first and foremost. As we move forward, it is an ongoing conversation with regard to the changing needs of their family and how we can create the greatest level of financial health and wellness while continuing to be focused on long term goals and the highest quality of life at every step. Duane has seen two significant, substantial downturns in the market, which gave him a new perspective in how to partner with clients and their businesses. He works with clients to protect themselves as well as continually evaluate their cash flow, budgeting, and investment strategy. Duane is highly individualistic with his approach which is why he considers himself a partner to his clients. He is unique in that no situation, family, business, or individual will ever be duplicated, therefore, his guidance and support to each client will always be specific and individual regardless if he is consulting on business, personal finances, or both. Duane is impassioned by his clients’ success as defined by their ability to handle obstacles, pivot, and sustain viability regardless of changes in the market. Duane is in contact with his clients in any way that is comfortable to them. He feels that people need flexibility in the way he is able to be reached and responded to. His clients have the opportunity to reach out via phone, email, text, or even social media if this works best. In the same regard, he keeps his clients up to date with a variety of the same platforms ensuring that the communication with his clients’ relationships are consistent, strong, meaningful, and useful. Duane feels that his clients work with him because of the personal, strategic, and holistic approach that he offers. He is able to set up a strategy with consideration to all his clients needs, goals, and challenges that may otherwise not be addressed without his individualistic approach. He is so focused on the goals and ensuring the effectiveness of his approach with his clients that he routinely receives word of significant milestones in his client’s lives such as the birth of a child, graduations, and moves to the coast!
